Antero Holmila, PhD, Associate Professor of History (tenure track) at the Department of History and Ethnology. Holmila specializes mainly in contemporary European history (post-WWII era). He has worked on issues such as collective memories of the Holocaust, memory politics of history, crisis, resilience, and moments of historical transformations. He has approached history from perspectives of critical discourse analysis, memory and remembering and with computer-based digital humanities tools.
