Alain Chenevez is HDR lecturer in socio-anthropology in Dijon (University of Burgundy). He is attached to the Denis Diderot department for his teaching and to the LIR3S laboratory (UMR 7355 – CNRS) for his research. He directed the Tony Garnier Urban Museum between 2004 and 2008 and his work currently focuses on the link between the development of cultural institutions and that of the city.
