  • In 2023 the national phase of the Romanian Language and Literature Olympiad for high school students was held in Sibiu on April 19-23 (https://onllrliceu2023.com). The President of the Olympiad was Prof. Andrei Terian (Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu), director of the ARCAN project. At the opening of the event, Prof. Terian gave a lecture summarizing the achievements of the project.   • On 27-28 May 2023, the ARCAN project team organized in Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the Institute of Linguistics and Literary History “Sextil Pușcariu” of the Romanian Academy, the international conference Reshaping Literary Lexicography after the Quantitative and the Digital Turn in the Study of the Novel. The conference included a keynote speech, as well as a presentation of the ARCAN project, both by Andrei Terian, and various oral presentations by members of the project team (Radu Vancu, Ștefan Baghiu, Vlad Pojoga, and Daiana Gârdan).   • On 30 November 2023, as part of the dissemination activity of the ARCAN project results, Prof. Andrei Terian gave a lecture at Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia) entitled The Very First Romanian Novel – In search of Its Lost Author. The event was attended by students, faculty members, and researchers from Comenius University and the Institute of World Literature of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The lecture was followed by a Q & A session.
