SESSION 1: POLICY RECOMMENDATION PAPER

The focus for this session will be knowledge transfer and ideas sharing to structure a Policy Guide and Recommendations on Migration Policy at the level of European countries (including specifically Norway and Romania). The Policy Recommendation Paper will be distributed to decision makers in both countries but also to the European Union bodies (e.g. EU Parliament’s Commissions) as well as other relevant stakeholders.

SESSION 2: DESIGNING AN ACADEMIC COURSE

The Global Studies Center (GSC) proposes a discussion session for designing a course on generally entitled “Migration Challenges and Solutions” to be later incorporated in the curricula at interested universities or offered as a stand-alone course to those interested. The aim of this session is to identify: 3-5 learning objectives, 12-14 educational topics and bibliography resources. GSC encourages also the involvement of students and getting feedback.
