Research Grant Director: Silviu NATE, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Security Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He is director of the Global Studies Center, an academic think-tank established by the same university. The Global Studies Center is a member of the Crimea Platform – a consultation group initiated by the Ukrainian civil society and government, and a member of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership think-tank network managed by the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). Dr. Nate’s preoccupation with policy building has led to access to research grants that have influenced strategic decisions.
Researcher: Ganna KHARLAMOVA, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Economic Cybernetics Department at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (since 2011), Dr. Habil in Economics, specialization economic modeling, Master Degree in Translation (English). She is directly the developer of several policy documents on SDG implementation at the national level of Ukraine:
– Ukraine 2030: Doctrine of Sustainable Development;
– “White Paper on Ukraine’s Economic Policy until 2030: National and Regional Dimensions”.
She was in the working group on the Economic Security Strategy of Ukraine and National Security Strategy of Ukraine, including the development of the Action Plan for their implementation by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine (2020-2021), and participated in FWG №2 “Strategic-Analytical” on the implementation of the Strategy of Economic Development of Donetsk and Luhansk regions until 2030 (2020-2021). She took part in the development of the Economic Security Strategy of Ukraine within the project of the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. She is one of the developers of the Draft Law on the Strategy for Implementation of the Sustainable Development Model of Ukraine until 2030 (№ 9015-1 of August 20, 2018). She was involved in the development of scenarios for the development of AHs (administrative hromads) of Ukraine in the framework of the project “E-solutions for communities” with the support of the program “U-LEAD with Europe”.
Researcher: Iryna IZAROVA, Ph.D. is Professor at the Law School of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Dr.Sc. (Law), Guest Professor at the University of Continuing Education Krems, Austria. She is the ELI Fellow, MCC of the Project ‘From Transnational Principles to European Rules of Civil Procedure and a member of the IAPL; the ELI, the EAPIL, the EASE, and the AUE. She serves as an Editor-in-Chief of the Access to Justice in Eastern Europe Journal (indexed in Scopus, Elsevier, and in Web of Science Core Collection, ESCI). Since 2021 she holds a chair of the Ukrainian Regional Chapter of the EASE. Prof. Izarova was involved in a few international and bilateral R&D projects, in particular, she managed the Ukrainian-Austrian R&D joint project for the 2021–2022 ‘Towards sustainable justice within current challenges: sharing best practice of civil and commercial disputes resolution and strengthening of Austrian-Ukrainian cooperation’.
Researcher: Andriy STAVYTSKYY, Ph.D. is Professor of Economic Cybernetics Department at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (since 2021), Dr. Habil. in Economics. He has the long-term experience in the modernization of the National Education system of Ukraine: worked for the Ministry of education in Ukraine, he is the National expert of the Ukrainian HERE team (Erasmus + Office of Ukraine) (since 2010), the ECTS Coordinator at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (since 2010), Director of Economic Cybernetics Programme (since 2021). He is the invited lecturer abroad: Edinburgh Business School (since 2014), Vilnius University (Lithuania, since 2013). He is the Managing Editor of “Ekonomika ” journal (Lithuania), a Scopus indexed journal. The main scope of scientific interests and analytical publications for mass media: economic security, geoeconomic trends, and forecasts.
Researcher: Răzvan ȘERBU, Ph.D. is Professor at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Faculty of Economic Sciences. His main research interests are devoted to entrepreneurship, electronic business management, risk and uncertainty in the economy, economic growth, and sustainable development.
Researcher: Eduard Alexandru STOICA, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University Lucian Blaga of Sibiu, Faculty of Economic Sciences. His research activity is focused on the border between “cybernetics” (by creating an adaptive feedback model), e-business (through the model’s connection with e-marketing, e-commerce and e-government) and “software engineering” (by projecting and implementing software instruments). He took part in several research Romanian grants and European projects.
