
Ștefan MORAR
Ștefan is a political scientist with expertise in public administration, nation-building, and interpretive qualitative methods. His research explores everyday practices of street-level bureaucrats. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Montreal and published and taught on issues of state/nation-building, identity politics, and fieldwork, with a focus on Eastern European politics and society. Based on three years of ethnographic fieldwork in Transnistria, his Ph.D. thesis develops a relational and praxeographic understanding of bureaucracy and nation-building. Within the FERBOPO project, Stefan will explore the role of priests as street-level bureaucrats performing body politics in Țara Făgărașului.
