She holds a PhD in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS\, Paris\, 2005) and habilitation in Political Science (2017). She founded and coordinates the Master’s programme in Equal Opportunity Policies — the first and only programme of its kind at the University of Bucharest\, and the only one in Romania affiliated with a European consortium. Her research covers gender studies\, feminist history\, women’s political representation\, anti-gender campaigns\, and biopolitics in post-communist Romania. Ramet:\nSabrina P. Ramet is a Professor Emerita of Political Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)\, in Trondheim\, Norway. Born in London\, England\, she received her undergraduate degree in philosophy at Stanford University\, her MA in international relations from the University of Arkansas\, and her Ph.D. in political science at UCLA in 1981. She is the author of 16 scholarly books (three of which have been published in Croatian translations)\, co-author of three\, and editor or co-editor of 43 scholarly books (of which 42 have been published to date\, with one in production).
