Bogdan-Iulian Mihai is a doctoral student in sociology at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in human resources selection and management, both earned at the same institution.

Currently, Bogdan serves as an equal opportunity expert within the FERBOPO project. In addition, he is a doctoral research assistant on an award-winning project and serves as an associate lecturer, teaching the Social Policy seminar and the Social Science Research Methodology lab.

His research interests focus on contemporary and high-impact topics such as gender and equal opportunity, migration, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the sociology of sport. On a personal level, Bogdan describes himself as sociable, calm, and adaptable. He is open to change and deeply committed to personal development, approaching every challenge with a  desire to learn and constantly grow.
