REVISITING CULTURAL HERITAGE:

Novel Approaches, Innovative Methods, and Transnational Connections

International Conference

Sibiu, Romania | 26–27 October 2023

Cultural heritage has emerged in the last decades as one of the most thriving areas of interdisciplinary research across the social sciences and the humanities. Questions regarding the politics of preserving and managing cultural heritage, as well as challenges brought about by the increased pressures toward its neoliberal commodification through tourism and other practices of heritage consumption, such as festivals, now feature high on both academic and policy agendas.
